Just venting ATM, although when I go back on BNuts I may want some help.

I just don't get how she can't take them. She's got a high-level Valk
who never dies, a Might werc/w Insight stick, a level 28 Lightning Fury
and 28 Jab... the only area she's lacking a little in is life - around
900.

~100 more life will make a big difference. The leap attack dude
is an abusive wolf who deals ~950 damage with right mod combos
(not the deadliest combos). Since he's a wolf, he'll be all over
your zon and ignoring the merc and the half-beast valk.

Of course, ~1k more life will be even better :)

I haven't tried, but maybe... and I mean maybe... putting on an
ugly Tal's mask may help. Switching to a plate armor to cover
your figure will probably also help.

That suxxorz. I have no idea what could have done that, other than a
particular mod combo (LE + CE or FE + CE) that creates an _invisible_
Frost Nova that does hellacious damage whenever the monster is hit. I
lost an 83 bowazon to it in the Hell Arreat Plateau. If one of the
old guys had Conviction and another had the mod bug, you could easily
be one-hit killed.

You could be right there. I think one of them spawned cursed and one of
them might have had Fanat, so that may have been it. Wish they'd stop
ignoring my Valk...

I'm sure I told you my big giant tale of woe about my bowazon being
one-hit killed when Korlic Leapt on her sorry ass. It was so quick I
never even saw their mods.

Anyway, she went back with a Stormshield and a Vampire Gaze for mucho
Damage Reduction, and proceeded to kill them with a Titan's Revenge
and one point in Jab. Didn't even need a potion. Perhaps trading some
of your gear for something with DR for just this one fight will help
you here? I'm not sure what kind of benefit your zon is getting from
Tal's armor. Or the belt. An increase in Magic Find is not likley to
help you with this battle. Even something like a Lionheart and SoE
would help you more here.

Yeah, I suspect bowazons are the chars who have the most trouble with
the old buggers. <g>

I think the problem was not her damage but the fact that she was
one-hit killed.
