What build do you think is best for killing cows in the Secret Cow
Level? I'm talking Hell Difficulty by the way...

Okay... which build besides the Lightning Fury Javazon?

1. Best Solo Cow Killer?
2. Best Multiplayer Cow Killer?

I was running the cow level with several of my chars this weekend to
see how they fared. Here are my results based on average gear (no
facets or godly runewords)...

A. Furyzon - Pretty good... needs to herd cows... not great
one-on-one...

B. Strafe/Multi-Zon - Not great... but did decent while enchanted and
using a WWS for amp... and needs a tank...

C. Skelemancer - Decent... Corpse Explosion does wonders...

D. Blizzard Sorc - Decent... pretty safe...

E. Kicksin - Tough to get those first kills safely, but then Death
Sentry rocks...

Your thoughts?

jave is without a doubt the best.
it is great because youll never have to worry about killing th ecow
king.
and i dont know why you were having trouble with cows 1 vs 1. use
charged strike. if you get a merc that has a insight youll never have
to worry about mana. and with titans you should not have to worry about
repairing your java's in the middle of cows. once at the end and you
should be fine.

Don't get me wrong... I know that the Javazon is the best... I'm just
wondering if there's a good alternative...

I've always had fun with a poison necro. Max poison nova and synergies with
lower resist and they drop like flys.

While playing around with the AI curses of my poison necro I observed
that Confuse and Attract both have a huge range. I realized that the
first time in Durance of Hate III on Nightmare difficulty. While cursing
some Blood Lords in one of the side rooms with Confuse, Mephisto
suddenly was standing in the door. Usually you have to move quite close
to him to wake him up, but the confused critters seemed to have grabbed
his attention from several screens away.

'Well', I thought, 'this might be useful for herding cows'. Shopped a
wand with confuse charges, put it on the weapon switch of my Javazon
(she has no other use for the weapon switch anyway), and fired up a Hell
cow game. Cursed the first cows that showed up with Confuse and waited a
few seconds while refreshing Confuse now and then (low level Confuse
charges don't last long in Hell). Wow. The biggest herd of cows I've
ever seen. And the Valkyrie right in the middle of them taking nearly no
damage as all surrounding cows already have a target. A few LFs later, I
memorized the drawback of massive herding: Too many items of the ground :).

Yup, those were the reason for my colorizer. I would press the ALT get
and all that white writing would start to trigger migranes. The problem
was that a LOT Of my chars were herders back then. I had the Javazon,
trapper, novasorc and 4 necros.
