I'm building a Zon-Pit-runner

What would be the better skill

Lightning Fury or Lightning Strike

According to Arreat Summit, LS gives 1-295 LD at lvl20, LF gives 1-580 LD

I think if i want to make her hybrid (FA) i wont have enough to go with the
synergies for LS
So in my opinion it's best to go with LF

What do you guys think ?

LF, FA & Valk max
1 in all prereq
Max cold arrow as synergie

Nothing compares to LF. Nothing.

If you pump any of the synergies of LF, pump Charged Strike, it's nice
for single enemies. The others arent worth using (in comparison)
although LS is amusing to watch. 33-hit chain lightning... heh.

LF doesn't really NEED synergy, but my zon is all LF. At L89 she has 68
out of the 80 possible synergy points. I haven't effectively used any
of the other skills on zon, much really, so I dunno what a good
complement is. Oh you said a pit runner. A lot of people use
multi-shot for that. (shrug.)

I have a lightning strike/lightning fury/charged strike spear/javazon.

Honestly, I'll say that I use all three of them with her.

_lightning strike is the quickest to kill in areas such as the flayer jungle
(many scattered little monsters). It also leech a lot.
_lightning fury is the quickest to kill in areas such as... well as soon as
there are 5 monsters in the same spot, nothing can possibly compare to it.
_charged strike is the only one-hit killer in the game against an isolated
big monster.

If you want to go hybrid, choose lightning fury. Don't max the synergy.

Even a 1% synergy is nice if you have the points to spend, and as you
pointed out 1 or 2 of the LF synergies are nice in their own right.
Maxing charged strike gets you a powerful single-monster attack and a
20% boost to LF. I think charged strike would be far more important
than LS, as a complement to LF, for taking out champs and bosses. I
don't think FA would be quite as good against bosses, if that's what
he's planning as a backup skill? And with +skills my LF zon is content
with a minimal 1 point in each passive. (Though more penetrate would be
nice...)
