As stated earlier....I'm a reset noob :(
I was wondering, do they do the reset at our local time or the battlenet
time? I really hope their time since they are ahead of me by 4 hours and I'm
a late-night player.
Thanks for any info:

From what I remember it has always been in the European late evening. And
that seems logical to me as that would be during the normal working hours of
the guys across the Atlantic. So I expect the realms to go online again not
earlier than 22:00 CEST (Central European summer time) which is GMT+4.

The Arreat Summit said that there would be info on the BattleNet Status
Forum.
I just checked there and it said:
All Diablo II realms will be down beginning at approximately 2:00 PM PDT,
June 25, until approximately 6:00 PM PDT to perform maintenance related
to the Diablo II ladder reset. During this time Diablo II will not be
accessible through Battle.net

What i found interesting was that the time-stamp on this message was
6/25/2007 9:58:58 PM GMTDT, which if my hours-of-conversion is correct, is
roughly 1 minute before the downtime was to begin.

(although I wasn't kicked off until 4:20 CDT (US), got my
soon-to-be-ex-ladder fire-ball sorc to level 19, so that she could use her
shiny new leaf before the reset!)
